Trail camera pictures 3

in #animals6 years ago

Last time I posted some pictures taken with Burrel trail camera. This time we can compare those with pictures taken with SG 520 trail camera.

I got my SG 520 trail camera at 09/2017, so pictures are taken between that and 10/2018. SG 520 trail camera is much smaller than Burrel and it takes 4AA batteries compared to 12xAA of Burrel. So you have to change those much more often unless you use external 6V battery.

Also SG is slower, so with moving targets you get more "misses" or bad pictures or videos. But on other hand if target is slow or still it takes good pictures. Or what do you think compared to those ones in earlier post?

So here are pictures.

This is one of my favorites one. Cranes spend nights at that shallow spot and i made a stand that can be placed on water and you can put camera on it.

I think this is my best one out of wood grouse.

This is one of those surprises you get some times. Did not expect baby crane from that spot when I put camera there.

Found a place that had clear marks deer or deers spend nights on that spot during winter, so had time think how to place camera and what kind of picture to expect.

Some nicer deer shot.

From that cranes night, just before it is light enough camera to take color pictures.

Had small hopes for a woodpecker, but those marks looked so old that those hopes were not so high.

Deer at spring. That snow could even carry my weight when I put it on that marsh. Picking it up was a different story, it had warmed up so much that on every step you sank way above knees in snow.

Mallards at breakfest. Self made stand had little crooked during night so had to rotate this one little bit.
