Rare Red-Crested Tree Rat

Red-Crested Tree Rat found only in the forest of colombia.
it was thought of secientist that the Red-Crested Tree Rat has been extinct for many years.

but recently volunteers at the el droda reserve were visited bye the creatures in 2011.
the lqst sight of recording was 1898.
when 2 of critters (Red-Crested Tree Rat) were found and studied.

this rare species of crested rat is about 18 inches long.
which has same size of guinea pig.
this crested rats inherits a really small area of forest but more of these rat,s area has been cleared or disturbed.
