Snails live on average about 15 years. Their vitality is amazing: during unfavorable conditions they can fall into a hibernation even for half a year! With the onset of the cold period of the year, the mollusk draws the leg and head into the shell, hiding before the leaves or in the ground. The entrance is closed with mucus, which eventually hardens.
It turns out that most snails are hermaphrodites, very uncommonly diverse creatures are very rare. They multiply by laying eggs. For one period, the snail lays an average of 85 pieces. The period of egg ripening lasts 3-4 weeks.

The strength of the shell of a snail depends on the amount of calcium in its food: the more it consumes it, the more reliable its "house". Almost all types of snails armor twists to the right clockwise. But sometimes, very rarely, there are left-wound sinks.
These lovely creatures live in small groups. When it gets cool, mostly at night, they crawl out of their shelters for feeding.
The color of the shell of the cochlea directly depends on the color of the soil and the composition of the feed.
