Goats Boria and Grisha - friendly guys, but so different

I have always believed that goats have horns as the main attribute of their appearance, while goats have no attributes. Almost near my house on the bank of Orlik (Oka tributary) there is a mini-reserve for animals and birds. There live two goats, Boris and Grisha. One of them with horns is Boria, and Grisha does not have them. People often take Grisha for a goat, do not notice that he has a beard. Grisha is quite plump, sociable, responds when his name is. Borya is a little capricious, stately, proud such a goat. If Grisha allows himself to be photographed, then Boris will immediately turn away as soon as he sees that a camera is being aimed at him. His open look is quite difficult to catch, it must be hard to try.

Goats often walk, relax together, one by one they can be seen less often. I pass by every day. I never noticed that goats fought. Sometimes they play, but they have never seen aggression, sometimes they lie flat against each other, but more often they are just close to each other. And also in the summer they eat grass.

When you offer them food, Grisha comes up right away, and Boris is pretending that he doesn’t care. Then still lazily fit. But if suddenly they accidentally drop out of his mouth, then not one of them will not lift from the ground. Here the geese and pigeons will not let the abyss eat, they pick up quickly, that by the mouth of the goats falls. .

Borya with character, it is difficult to catch him, so says the worker who cares for them, for example, he needs to put his nails in order, but he is not given. It is necessary to involve two men so that they keep in such a procedure. Grisha is peaceful, he does not resist, the girl alone copes with him.

Why Grisha did not grow horns unknown. His brother, who lived earlier in the reserve, had horns. True, they were smaller than Bori’s horns, but still they were.

These are the little goats who live with us, although they are different, but friendly. Near the children's park. Every weekend is full of parents with children who want to treat the goats to treat them with snacks. They are happy, especially Grisha.
