Feed the goose on the river
I do not know how to photograph birds. I take food for them when I try to take them off. I don’t have time to adjust the camera as if they feel and immediately fly away. With birds living on the river is easier, but they also rarely swim up close to the shore. I was lucky yesterday. I saw a sitting goose quietly on a "raft". A woman stood nearby and a man had just left her. It turns out that they fed almost all the bread to the ducks, and then suddenly they saw a goose. Remains of bread, too, the goose did not get. Already other ducks quickly intensified and ate all the bread. Goose did not have time to grab a crumb. It was the same with my bread. The goose seemed to be close to the shore, but not so close to it. He barely moved to grab the bread. Nimble ducks ahead of him.
A woman told me that her husband went to the store for white bread specifically for the goose, and suggested that I wait when I saw him taking pictures. Goose seemed to have heard and understood our conversation. Judging by his appearance, he was not going to float away.
Finally, the goose waited for the bread. The ducks are right there. The man began to feed the goose. A woman and I filmed the process on cameras.
Sometimes the goose managed to catch bread on the fly. He quickly swallowed it and waited for the next portion.
There are a lot of wild ducks on the river, and only four geese, they live in a "house" on the bank of the Orlik (Oka tributary).
When the pieces of bread flew past the goose's beak, the ducks quickly picked up. Goose was angry, trying to pinch them.
This is where the goose shows discontent. As if he knows that the bread was meant for him, but again the ducks are taken from him.
And the goose is straight so handsome! Still, he was fed. He did not even try to catch the last pieces of bread.
I managed to capture the video of the goose - how it was waiting for food, how it was fed.
