A Scorpion

Scorpion sudden 'fame' after President Jokowi said that scorpion venom business is worth millions of dollars and can make people get rich quick. Various responses sprang up against this Jokowi statement.

As we know that the scorpion is one of the toxic animals that are harmful to the salvation of the soul. Even Islam advocates killing scorpions.

There are some animals that are supposed to be killed by Islamic shari'ah. And the animals as mentioned by the Prophet sallallaahu alaihi wa sallam:

"Five fasiq animals that are recommended to be killed even in the land of unlawfulness: Rats, scorpions, eagles, crows, and fierce dogs" (Narrated by Bukhari Muslim)
