Oarfish in the Philippines and was found dead.
A rare see creature that can be found in all temperate to tropical oceans yet rarely seen. this Oarfish was found lifeless in the shore of Barangay Doljo,Panglao Philippines.
The Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) debunked speculations indicating that rare large sea creature that are washed ashore are an indication of imminent calamities.
Sighting of the large Oarfish at shore was deemed by some as bad omen while others in social media cited scientific factors in claiming impending earth quake based on the appearance of the rarely seen see creature.
