Pocho Benign Crocodile Friendly with Humans.

Is it possible for humans to be friends with wild animals such as lions, crocodiles, bears or Hyenas. Yes, it can be rare though, and it doesn't feel like needing to be an animal handler. For example, Pocho is a benign crocodile that is friendly to humans. Not only eating with Chito the employer. But every day they will do joint activities such as sleeping, swimming and wrestling in the water. It is impossible to do even for a crocodile handler.

The friendship of Gilberto Chito and Pocho Crocodile began with accident. Around 1989 in the Reventazón River, Costa Rica. At that time Chito saw a crocodile in a dying state that leaned against the river. His head was torn open due to a shot. Instead of fearing Chito actually approached the crocodile, he felt sorry for him and took him home to be treated.

For several days Chito took care of Pocho with great affection, even taking him to sleep together in the room until he recovered and could move on again. Not wanting to limit Pocho's life in his home, he also released the lanang sex crocodile back into the river (his original habitat).

Friendship of crocodiles with humans does not stop here. A week later, when Chito was enjoying coffee behind his house. How shocked he found Pocho was relaxing there. When he called his name, Poncho went straight to him.

Chito also realized that it turned out that Crocodile wanted to stay with him. Day after day they passed together until they didn't feel the friendship between them had been running for more than 20 years. All activities from eating, sleeping, playing to swimming are passed by two brothers from one father to another. Who doesn't know the story of their friendship, yes their story is very famous in Costa Rica.

Many local residents and foreign tourists often watch the Chito and Pochoo's tame crocodiles while swimming together. Their relationship was very romantic, but none of the residents dared to approach the Poncho Crocodile, so the name was crocodile

And unfortunately a thousand dear, the world seems to be keen to see the beauty of their friendship. On October 12, 2011, Pocho became ill and died naturally at the age of 50 years. The funeral was held in the village where Chito lived and was attended by thousands of people who wanted to watch closely the Pocho tame crocodile for the last time.

How Chito was so badly hit by the departure of his best friend, but at least he had been in a frenzy and sincere, because he had provided the best care for his favorite crocodile Pocho.

One thing is certain Chito has shown Pocho that not all humans are evil, especially to wild animals. It is not impossible for humans to be good friends with wild animals. One example is Pocho, he might not consider me as a friend but more than that, as an older brother or perhaps his parents. I miss him so much, said Chito, crying competitively as he pulled out his water.
