"Biggest Festival Of Nepal : The festival that honours dogs"
Diwali, one of the great celebrations in the Hindu calendar, is a five-day autumn festival generally known as the festival of lights
As you know we Nepalese celebrate various festivals and we are rich in culture. Our biggest festival is in our door. Tihar, the second day of the Tihar festival, is being observed across the country on Saturday.
According to Hindu myths, the dog is regarded as the guard of Yamaraj, the god of death. As we love dog.
Most of the humana are attached with dogs. They are our best friends indeed. Nobody can understand us more than dogs. Every day is dogs day but today we take as theirs day and enjoy with them. Its wonderful to make them happy.
I feel very happy when I see some dogs being walked, looking healthy and loved. A well cared for and loved dog has that air of confidence around them which is such a pleasure to see. It is heartwarming to see a growing number of people who love their dogs and treat them like family.
What forms does this worship take? During Kukur Tihar, the mythological and real relationships between humans and dogs constitute the day’s major focus. A garland of flowers is draped around the neck of every dog; not only those with homes, but strays as well.
