My turtle Paquita

At home, I have one of the coolest pets, a Jicotea. Its slow gait doesn't diminish its majesty.
In Cuba, this painted turtle is called a Jicotea and lives mainly in muddy, very humid, freshwater environments.
Every time it rains, it appears and walks all over the place. There are certain beliefs that when it walks through a house, it cleanses it of all evil and banishes all kinds of bad luck.
It is also said that if a house is cleansed with the water in which it bathes, the same thing happens.
