pipefish are long slim, dark green fish that look just like strands of seaweed.in shallow, weedy water, they swim upright among the seaweed fronds, and resemble their surroundings so closely that they are almost umpossible to see.
Pioefish, predator find it very difficult to spot pipefish hiding strands of seaweed.

They elude predators with their camouflage, but what do they eat? Plankton? Fascinating, the variety of aquatic life, so much that we have never discovered. This is a beautiful animal.
