Hippie continues to live in my room. So far, we have abandoned the idea of settling it in an aviary. The weather is not the best, there is a cold snap ahead. Hippies are already used to me, they come up with pleasure and asks me to scratch his ears.

I do not close the cage during the day, only at night, because then I do not control the situation. There are many dogs in the house. Of course, they will not cause him physical harm, but they can frighten him. Although the room is closed, for example, Umka and Zvezda can open the door. I do not want to risk. As for cats, Hippie is already friends with them.

What surprises me most is that he does not want to leave the cage, although it is open. People who gave Hippie to us said that he walked around the room. But now he is either sitting in a cage, and if he leaves, he does not move away from it.
Perhaps he was not yet used and needed more time to fully adapt. But otherwise, Hippie feels good, he is calm and has a wonderful appetite.
