What are the charities that have the highest impact in terms of saving individuals?

To answer this question, the non-profit Animal Charity Evaluators was launched.

They have made it their mission to identify the most effective animal charities and rank them accordingly. There are reviews of over 200 animal charities on their website.

If you should decide on donating to an animal charity, donating to one that represents farm animals is really important, as seen in the graph. Farm animals are the group with the greatest amount of suffering, but also one of the the groups with the least amount of money donated to. If you don´t want to donate to farm animals, I would suggest to donate to anti-vivisection organisations, or organisations that do research on alternatives to vivisection, since lab animals are the the second biggest group needing our help.
