Lonely owl

This picture was taken in Tehran zoo , known as Eram zoo. I went there a few years ago for my university project and honestly it was pretty depressing to see animals locked in cages. There are different point of views about zoos all around the word.

Although I know that keeping endangered species in safe environments can help to save them but I think we should make sanctuary not keep them in small cages. all these magnificent animals seemed so lonely.
