City ducks
In the world there are about 110 species of ducks, but my usual, arriving and often hibernating in the cities of the central strip of Russia.
Did you know that only ducks quack, drakes do not know how to grunt.
As befits men, they are not talkative).
You can imagine that ducks can fly 500 km a day!
I always experienced when I saw how ducks walk on the first ice.
It seemed to me that they froze through and through.
Later I read that duck paws do not feel cold due to the absence of blood vessels and nerve endings in their paws.
Our city ducks became practically tame, they can chase you on the beach in anticipation of a treat.)
