Bandicoot!
South Australia has some awesome and weird animals like this:-
i believe this is a southern brown bandicoot, a type of marsupial, found mostly in southern Australia. i may be wrong on this as we dont get these beasties where i grew up in England.
i occasionally find them while out on my fishing adventures.
Bandicoots will pretty much eat anything, including my fishing bait, their main diet would be from feeding on insects, but will include spiders, worms, plant roots, ferns, and fungi.
They have a lot of natural predators from fox, feral cats, owls, snakes, and another ozzy beast called a Quoll, the Bandicoots are easy prey for these animals because they are not afraid of their scent, which is probably why they can appear to be quite friendly and will come quite close if you don't move quickly.
Australia has all the cutest pokemons- er I mean animals. We don't get any marsupials here sadface. Are you sure he doesn't come close to you because it's you? Like the birds do? Hehe
hehhe you make me laugh a lot @wisewoof... Everybody loves @realtreebivvy ... but not bandicoot
It looks like a rat cross wallaby! Where did you see it?
while out with you :) When daddy says look - a bandicoot, look down and not up in the trees LOL.
