Today I have the most wonderful, proud bird of the Shoulder Eagle! To madness like these handsome beauties! This time he let himself be photographed in full glory! Therefore, last time I sat quite and high and watched only from the side.) But lunch time is all the same holy! I went down, but I did not eat ...

Such a view that goosebumps are straightforward, not from fear of course) but from beauty!) It’s not for nothing that in the Far East there are so many wonderful songs about these birds, about their greatness and beauty. And how many legends are folded, so they generally do not count! They are also called sea eagle or Pacific eagle. Unfortunately, these birds are listed in the Red Book, as a vulnerable species, which is reduced every year.

Pretty big bird. It is considered even one of the largest predators. The body length of males is about 88 cm, but females are slightly larger and can reach 100 cm. The average bird weight is about 8-9 kg. And the wingspan is from 2 meters and more. How funny it was to watch him. Trying to escape from annoying people with cameras, the eagle moved with a menacing look, then waving its huge wings a little, which led people to even more delight, sat down and thought what to do next .....

Just look at this wonderful black and brown plumage. And how striking are these pure white spots on the wings and on the tail and on the legs like cotton pants))) And what a huge and bright beak! Well, how can you not admire such a bird? I think such a bird will be difficult not to notice in nature, I would very much like to watch it not in a cage, although it is possible that you will not consider it closer.

Habitat is our Russia! The Far East, Sakhalin, the Kuriles and the coast of Kamchatka. You can meet this beautiful bird mostly not far from the water, where they spend most of their time. Their nests are also built not far from the coast. Eagles are considered conservative in all. Even their soul mate they choose for life.

Surprisingly, the birds reach their full maturity only by 7 years of their life. The life expectancy of these birds outside the will can reach 44 years, and so on to 20. Very often, many confuse them with eagles, but it is worth noting that all the same, the eagles are much larger. As a result, by the way, he got tired of showing off and he flew high on a tree, where it was difficult to photograph him ..
