Wow, these are some really fine shots. That squirrel looks at home with you!!!

Anyway, these are some really nice pictures you took. However i would like to make a suggestion.

Can you add some description on this post photos or maybe in future posts.

That inspires engagement from the public and draws traffic to your posts.

Take the example of this post, you could for example talk about Squirrels in general. Their habitats, what they like.....anything to tell some sort of a story.

My way of dealing wit photos is that i use them to tell a story..but of course people have different ways. Even so, adding some descriptions is very useful.

Otherwise, these are great shots

Thanks for the advice and the compliment on my photography. I usually do include more commentary. However, I did mention where I photographed him above the pictures of this photo essay. Then, I made a conscious choice in this case to let the photo essay speak for itself. Everyone pretty much knows the habitat and habits of the ubiquitous squirrel. And, after all, “A picture IS worth a thousand words.”

Well respectfully, i disagree. Not everyone knows! I for one don't know. But of course that was just an alternative way i was giving, and you don't exactly have to describe the 'habits and habitat', but i thought you needed to 'say something', more than just where it was taken from.

And that

“A picture IS worth a thousand words.”

That may be true, but again, not everyone who views any given picture, including most people here at steemit, i would imagine, can so easily find those a thousand words, unless you prompt them with some revealing and leading prompt.

If they did, then photo/image/drawing related posts wound command the highest levels of interaction, but of course they don't, despite the luxury of those a 'thousand words'

But again, as before, these are only my suggestions.
