Monkey of Gibraltar - entry to photo competition
This is my picture of a monkey lying on a concrete wall protecting people and vehicles from falling of a cliff of a Gibraltar rock.
In the background the scene contains four elements:
- The city of Gibraltar right in the bottom of the rock
- The Mediterranean Sea with some ships
- The mountains of Morocco (Africa) on the other side of the sea
- Blue sky with a flying seagull
It's my entry to Steemit photo competition.
The picture was taken with Panasonic FZ-200 compact camera without any additional filters.

This photo alone has just made my life! Monkeys have always held a place in my heart because they are so similar to us and I think they are so smart and cute. I wouldn't mind having a monkey as a best friend.
I'm glad you liked it. Yes, they are similar to humans. Sometimes it even makes me philosophical to think how (not) far are we from them.
