Beautiful creatures, sad day

These pictures are close to my heart.

I took these photos in Lincoln - just outside in the grounds of a hospice. My sister, Emma was here. It would only be an hour after I took these photos that she died while I sat by her bedside. The grief in that moment is something I will never forget but I look back at these photos and remember these beautiful creatures were there almost at the worst moment of my life.

I took these on an iPhone 5s.
