Bird of Prey

This poor fella got its wings wet and was having a hard time flying back. We were strolling along the beach for the sunset when we encountered this guy tying to fly but keeps on landing on the sea. We tried getting a closer look and it got quite defensive and alarmed at us.

This was taken in Kalanggaman Island, Philippines. I believe it was called Kalanggaman (bird island) because of the bird population in the island. Although it is located about 40 minutes boat ride away from the closest mainland. When you come by this island, go for a stroll at sunset and you would see a lot of birds circling around the island.
