Photocontests Animal Photography - Chook Chook
Here is my entry to #animalphotography hosted by @juliank from @photocontests.
This handsome man is known as Chook Chook (not named by us), he's a lady amherst pheasant. He's our adopted fly in, fly out pet. I have been trying to get a good photo of him for weeks/months but he is a little scared still and can and rather skittish so it has been a mission! I certainly hope to get more in the future, he is a spectacular bird!

Definitely not a pro, hahaaa, just someone who likes to pick up their camera. I took this in my backyard using a zoom lens as he doesn't like you getting too close to him! Nice to meet you too, thank you for your kind words! : )
