animalphotography - wild boar in the forrest

Two years ago in april i visited the "Antrachinger Au" for some wildlife and animalphotography. Our main target this day was to take a picture of a kingfisher, but it flew away and i only was able to get a very blurry small image of it. In our tour through the forrest we encountered several wild boars, so we stayed together and everyone of us took a big piece of wood to prevent the wild boars to attack us. Even with a 600 mm lens it is pretty close to us and you need to be careful because in spring time they protect their offspring and this could be very dangerous if you make the wild boar angy.

Wild boars live in Austria only in special region of the forrest. Most of the time a woodman or hunter prepares a fence to stop them from wandering too much.
