animalphotography - Visiting Lake Neusiedler

The last weekend i visited the Lake Neusiedler again for some animalphotography. I was pretty excited about my visit but a lot of animals already left their homes there to fly back to the south. The Bee Eaters are already gone for a long time and also a lot of other summer birds already went back on their trip to the south. So i am already looking forward to my visit there in spring when i meet them all again.

I was lucky to find some Dunlins looking for food in the shallow water. I found some white wagtails flying around the coast and catching the last warm sunrays of the summer. They tend to stay on warm color rocks. Birds are such an interesting species and i always enjoy watching them and i am proud to catch so many beautiful pictures of them.

At the Hansag i was able to catch some picture from a phaesant. But this poor guy already looks pretty harassed, hopefully his wife didn't take all his money. Especially the head feathers look pretty bad. The Hansag is an environmental and animal protection reservat in Austria and Hungary with a lot of very seldom bird breeding there.
