An Ant

I was on a hike in Gatineau Park, and I stopped for lunch, sitting on this boulder. I noticed this lone ant running around on the rock, and grabbed the photo. Photographing moving insects is a challenge, because up close the depth of field is so shallow that the subject tends to move out of focus very quickly. This busy ant wasn't in any mood to stop and pose for a portrait, so I had to focus and snap quickly.
