Burung jenis ini mempunyai banyak skill jika dilatih, dan tergolong jenis burung yang mudah dijinakkan, jika anda memelihara burung ini usaha memberi pakan yang cukup seperti millet, kangkunh dan buah2an dan jangan lupa membersihkan kandang seminggu 2 kali agar terhindar dari bermacam penyakit
