The monkey eats the living deer, the drenus tries to escape
The Baboon monkey has caught a small deer.
He begins to remove the organs to eat as food, meanwhile his mother with all the strengths tries to save the baby from the ape.
Unfortunately, the monkey removes the little deer meat pieces while he is still alive.
His mother fails to rescue him, while the ape as head of his family eats the food first, leaving the rest of the scumbags behind.

It's nature red in tooth and claw. It couldn't work any other way. Survival of the fittest. Natural Selection. EVERY living thing has to die some time; if nutrients were locked away in immortal bodies, they'd never get recycled so we'd have to stop reproducing / eating.
The planet only has a finite amount of resources. "Shit happens" because we eat things.
