Day off writing. Little doggy mum and her surprising adoptive daughter

A day off is today, and let's take a break from serious topics. I’d like to intriduce you to the inhabitants of my mini-shelter.

Meet Nicolette, a little mongrel dog that I took from a street more than 10 years ago on a cold winter evening. Then she was a puppy. Description of the outstanding character of Nicolette will be a separate post. But now I would like to tell one funny story about her.

When Nicolette was two years old, I took a small black kitten from the street.

Nicolette adopted her at once, she took care of the kitten in every way, and even refused to go out on the street, so as not to leave her child unattended for a minute.
But the most interesting is that Nicolette suddenly had milk, and she started to feed the kitten! We were just amazed by such a mystery of nature!

The kitten grew into a luxurious black cat named Markiza. They were best friends for many years.

By the way, Markiza grew up with the same harmful and capricious nature as her adoptive mother ))
