Toxic dart frogs are domestic animals from South America & Central America. Unlike its name, the dark dart frog has an attractive & beautiful color, but this is a sign that the frog is poisonous. Unlike most frogs, this species is active during the day. As the name implies, this frog has a bright golden color. Just like a dark arrowhead, poisonous poison frogs with attractive and bright colors are used by the surrounding community to hunt animals. If any animal eats it, then the poison will spread throughout his body & he will feel pain. Dendrobates Leucomelas is the dart frog of the genus Dendrobates & family Dendrobatidae. D. Leucomelas can be found in the northern part of South America, especially in Venezuela. This frog can also be found in parts of Guyana, Brazil & eastern Colombia. These amphibians are found in moist conditions & in tropical rain forests, close to fresh water. During the dry season, this species is known to gather under a rock, or a fallen tree trunk. D. Leucomelas usually live at an average temperature of 20s to 30s degrees centigrade. This frog is very sensitive with high temperature temperature. Despite choosing a high level of moisture, this species can handle lower moisture levels much better than other species in the genus. These specimens can also be found on the islands of dry, seasonal forest, & at an altitude of 800 meters above sea level. D. Leucomelas live in groups.
