Pepper might be feeling jealous of about the puppy. But I hope that you gave love to Pepper just like you loved the puppy when Pepper was there with the puppy. Or maybe she's feeling that the puppy is a little one and she's the big great adult lol

I think Pepper was a little bit jealous.
She is usually not cuddly but she came up to me and sat on my chest after the puppy went home ;)
