5 more days until we see our furry friends again
Another day goes by and the joy of anticipation is rising. Everyone who knows us a bit better, knows that we love dogs. And everyone who has been to Bali knows that there are a lot of stray dogs or beach dogs...and we love them.
Some people are scared of them, but in my opinion there is no reason for it. Dogs will always bark before they attack you and I would never approach a dog who shows any aggressive signs.
Ein weiterer Tag vergeht und die Vorfreude steigt. Jeder, der uns ein bisschen besser kennt, weiß, dass wir Hunde lieben. Und jeder, der auf Bali war, weiß, dass es viele streunende Hunde oder Strandhunde gibt ... und wir lieben sie.
Einige Menschen haben Angst vor ihnen, aber meiner Meinung nach gibt es keinen Grund dafür. Hunde bellen immer, bevor sie dich angreifen, und ich würde mich niemals einem Hund nähern, der aggressive Anzeichen zeigt.
Bobby is the most important dog, be is the one who is protecting the property where we live and he takes his job quite serious. This is one of the dogs I would not approach if you don´t know him.
BUT...if you know hin he is the best and loyal dog ever. Looking forward to see him again and hope he is well.
Bobby ist der wichtigste Hund, er ist derjenige, der das Grundstück bewacht, in dem wir leben, und er nimmt seinen Job ziemlich ernst. Dies ist einer der Hunde, dem ich mich nicht nähern würde, wenn ich ihn nicht kennen würde.
ABER ... wenn man ihn kennt, ist er der beste und treueste Hund, den es gibt. Wir freuen uns auf ein Wiedersehen und hoffen, dass es ihm gut geht.
Aside from Bobby, there are of course some other dogs you know by now if you come here regularly. For example the Boxer dog who is digging holes and burying coconuts every sunset at the beach. And if I say every I mean every. There wasn´t one single afternoon at the beach when haven't seen him.
Abgesehen von Bobby gibt es natürlich noch einige andere Hunde, die man bereits kennt, wenn man regelmäßig hierher kommt. Zum Beispiel der Boxer, der jeden Sonnenuntergang am Strand Löcher gräbt und Kokosnüsse vergräbt. Und wenn ich jeden sage, meine ich jeden. Es war kein einziger Nachmittag am Strand, an dem ich ihn nicht gesehen habe.
But these dogs have owners so they are quite healthy and get enough food, compared to all the street and beachdogs. There is so many of them and some of them are in a very bad condition.
We love to buy food and feed them and try to help where we can. We once picked up a tiny cat from the street, brought her to a animal shelter and raised money afterwards for her medication.
We´re really looking forward to see them all again and try to help even more this time.
Aber diese Hunde haben Besitzer, so dass sie ziemlich gesund sind und genug Futter bekommen, verglichen mit allen Straßen- und Strandhunden. Es gibt so viele von ihnen und einige von ihnen sind in einem sehr schlechten Zustand.
Wir kaufen gerne Lebensmittel und füttern sie und versuchen zu helfen, wo wir können. Wir haben einmal eine kleine Katze von der Straße abgeholt, sie in ein Tierheim gebracht und anschließend Geld für ihre Medikamente gesammelt.
Wir freuen uns sehr auf ein Wiedersehen und versuchen diesmal noch mehr zu helfen.
Man that's some amazing captures of those cute doggos! In my neighborhood are also living hundreds (yes) of dogs on the street. Never had a problem with them either! Cheers!
True, Thailand has a lot of street dogs as well. Dogs are so cool! :)
