THE HARPY EAGLE

Hello to my every reader .Today's blog is quit interesting because today I'll read about dangerous animals in rain forest suddenly I saw this eagle and decide to write blog on Harpy eagle.

WHY HARPY EAGLE IS CALLED HARPY???
Because Harpy is the name of legendary man eating monster HARPY.

Harpy Eagle is usually find in central America ans South America.Harpy Eagle is also called Neotropical species. There family name is called Accipitridae.

Harpy Eagle can reach 34 to 42 inches in length and 8.8 to 20 pounds of weight and you know guys its female is larger than its male.

Usually harpy eagles has black backs ,White belly and grey face but there male and female look same.These are usually active at day time .Harper Eagle has very sharp eyesight and excellent sense of hearing that are used for detection of hunting .

They are usually meat eater they eat monkey ,raccoons, baby dear ,parrots and etc.Harper Eagle don't hunt every day they usually hunt large animal ,take that animal to nest on trees and eat for couple of days.

HOW HARPY EAGLE MEET THERE SOUL MATES:
They mate there soul mate for life time and even parents share there responsibilities equally .They give birth to there child every two or three years.There pair occupy 20 square miles of territory.There nest is usually 130 feet high above the ground .Male usually provide feed for the nest.

Harpy Eagle survive in this world for 25 to 35 years in the wild.According to Bird life international the total number of Harper Eagles are 20000 to 50000 but according to them this is not satisfactory rate .
