Hi steemians,
White tiger is one of the very rare animals. These animals are blue-eyed with plain white plumage that sometimes has a bit of a stripe.
Only 1 in 1,000 wild tigers were born with leucism, a condition of pigment deficiency in their fur. This condition causes their fur to be white with black tar and has blue eyes.
Later, a rare animal protection body kissed the 'stench' behind the beauty of the creature.
Because of the rarity of big white cats in the wild, zoos and circuses cross-breed to produce white tigers. However, many of the animals were born defects and even deformities.
The condition is related to the health problem of the tiger. Then exacerbated by the existence of cross breeding program.
Most of the crossbreeding animals born in captivity have problems with immunity and squinting. Even some of them are born with brain defects, cleft, protruding eyes, and other facial deformities.
Even white tigers of healthy crossbreeding can not be released into the wild. It is caused by white fur that does not allow them to hunt without getting caught.
Kenny is one of the white tigers of the crossbreeding victim. He was found at the age of 3 years at an illegal crossborder in Arkansas, United States, in 2000.

Kenny was born with a short snout, round face, teeth barely and rarely. It is stored in a dirty warehouse because it is not pretty enough to be sold. His more dog-like appearance made him the world's ugliest white tiger.
The team from Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge also rescued a Bengali tiger named Willie with orange eyes. It was believed he was Kenny's brother.
The two unfortunate animals are deformed as a result of interbreeding that occurs in several generations.

"They are not tiger species, they are harmless, they do not need to be saved, they do not even need to be there, they are the world's worst tigers," said Susan Bass, deputy spokesman for Big Cat Rescue,
"The breeder or cross breeder and the creature owner deceive the public by saying they need to be protected and make a profit by attracting money for anyone who wants to see it," he said again.

Another white tiger, named Zabu, had a face with a permanent smile after he was born with a cleft.

"To get one perfect animal, a beautiful white tiger is 1 in 20," Bass said.
"Then how the other 29 left? Injecting dead ... thrown out ... nobody knows," he said.

For Kenny, he was lucky enough to live long in the shelter until he died at the age of 10 because of melanoma or skin cancer.
It is unclear whether the cause of his death was due to crossbreeding.

"All Kenny's love has a great personality, he's loved by all the guards and staff," Kenny said.

White tigers that are still alive today the majority are the result of interbreeding from zoos all over the world. They generally mix Bengali and Siberian tigers.
Because the case is considered a violation of animal rights, the American Zoological Association (AZA) prohibits cross breeding since 2011.
They also prohibit the display of animals crosslinked at the zoo since 1983.

"This is not a zoo activity showing off two-headed animals and white tigers," said William Conway, director of the Bronx Zoo in New York.
