No one has the right time
A few days ago, I bought a tablet that came with a digital clock. I configured it and by default it comes with the correct time, without having to modify anything.
I am usually woken up at 6:20 in the morning to take my children to school, and that day I followed the scheduled routine. I left my son for school at 7:00 in the morning. Until that moment I hadn't noticed the time, because as is routine, the time is set to automatic. My daughter comes in at 8:00, so I have 35 to 40 minutes to exercise – which is close to the school, by the way.
As the minutes went by, I saw the time and said to myself, "I have plenty of time.” At 7:50 I went to where I parked the car. By the time I arrived, my wife was waiting for me annoyed. I said, "Just in time, love" and before I finished saying the phrase she said, "It's too late! They're closed, it's 8:00, and we’re not going to get there". It is worth mentioning that at 7:45 they open the grille (doors) and at 8 o' clock they close it. Surprised, I told my wife that she was mistaken (error on my part to say that to a woman), that there were still 10 minutes to go, in 5 minutes we can arrive.
We got to school and my wife was right, the school was closed. I was amazed to see that the school clock was 10 minutes ahead of my watch. I assumed my time was wrong and it had been my mistake.
When I got home (with my daughter with us), I started looking for the right time and it turns out that according to Google, my time was the right one. Which led me to think, "Doesn't anybody have the right time?" and I answered myself, "no one has the right time."
For some reason everyone has 10 minutes ahead of time on their watch; whether it's to get to work, appointments, events, etc. And it's an endless chain. Why endless? Let's take an example: if I had asked my wife what time it was when I was setting the clock, she would have given me her time, "the right time", and about that time my life would turn (and in fact about that time it will turn from now on).
