It is one of the most famous ancient structures in Dhaka, Bangladesh. In today times this kind of structure exist in Dhaka is so hard to believe without visiting the palace. The moment when you will visit the place you will feel like, Ah I maybe watching a movie scene. Because the structure is so large and nicely decorated. This kind of decoration is a rare thing. Even today engineers will face a lot of trouble, if the try to make a kind of thing like that. It is a dream place of mine. Amateur people will fall in love with that thing right at the moment when they will see the structure. At the entrance there is large hall room connected with two big sideways. At both end of the sideways there is stairs to climb up to the building. The palace is so old but still it is too hard to collapse. Amazing job done by the creators at that time. Today's buildings/structures look like a toy in front of this palace. I wish I were a king, I wish I was the owner of this thing. A true sign of royalty.

History

A normal business man who belongs to a middle class family made this Palace, he made this place because of insistence on a local landlord at that time. His name was Hrishikesh Das. The structure was made back in 1930. The palace is about 7000 square km. 45 feet tall, and standing on 6 giant poles. At the top of every pole there is amazing crafts, that decorated the building. After making the palace, Hrishikesh Das became bankrupt and then he sold the Palace to Khan Bahadur Abdur Rashid at 1937. After the Palace was renamed to "Rashid Manjil". There used to be a lot of assembly and political meeting was held at that place. At 1966 Kazi Humayun Bashir has owned the palace. Then at 1970 "Bengal studio" took the lease of that palace. At the time it become cinema shooting spot. Even now a lot of movie sequences are held here.
Every day a lot of foreigners and local people gather here to visit Rose Garden, And to know the history behind the Palace.
