As I work with teenagers, I follow the changes in the school system, the way of teaching, the curriculum, the evaluation of pupils' knowledge, upbringing and education. And recently, I had a chat with one of our nearby professors.

Generations of pupils still continue to socialize after 10 years, they help each other. They respect each other, regardless of the profession they perform and their earnings. We also raised them - we had time to raise children, we could talk to them, listen to them when needed. Upbringing and raising was equivalent to education.

The schoolmates were looking forward to the successful achievements of their classmates. There was not a day that nobody would asked a teacher, a cleaner, a janitor, or a cook at school, how they could help. Working with the elderly was also a way to raise children.

We have destroyed the values ​​of the eight-year elementary school. We literally cross out words, content that would continue to shape a thinking, creative, respectful, satisfied student. The word education has been crossed out, the behaviour of pupils is no longer relevant. We lost sports education, art education, music education, assessment of behaviour. We lost seven hours of education a week. Various educational measures were introduced instead. Children in kindergarten can call the educators by names. Same thing is happening with parents. Because this is domestic, more friendly? What about respect?

Parents, students, teachers... we are all burnout. And then we are wondering why so many people live in stress.

How much knowledge do pupils receive? There is no compensation for all the knowledge and effort involved. And we still say that our students know less than ... We give them "richer" learning contents every year. The new goals of knowledge are increasing, the pupils have more and more learning objects, lessons are becoming too short because we can not teach them all the learning material in 45 minutes. Perhaps we will extend the lesson to 60 minutes? Perhaps a lot of learning materials could be crossed out. Have less hours of history, mathematics ...

On all the above, we are increasingly hearing the excuse that's just what a modern way of life is. People work more than eight hours a day, they are available to their employers all day, productivity is rising, parents do not have time for their family - and they can forget about socializing and having fun. Exhausted, tired, humiliated, they return to their family. Yes, the school system is breaking families. We also increase the amount of data that students need to adopt in the shortest possible time. And then we load them with new knowledge. They have less time to socialize, relax.
