Want real change? Vote with your wallet.
Every time you make a purchase, you vote for the world you want to live in.
Vote with your wallet!
We all want to make the world a better place, but how many of us actually take the responsibility on ourselves and change the world with every purchase that we make? Not many, I see many of the "truthers" still supporting the very companies that we are constantly railing against. This is a self indictment as much as an indictment of the truth movement itself. Even I must admit, that I could do a better job of voting with my wallet and supporting the types of companies that make the world a better place rather than destroying it for profit.
How to defeat GMO's
We protest, we call and write our so called elected officials, we make documentaries, blog posts like this one, and more but in all honesty the best way to defeat them is to just not buy any food that is not labeled organic or non GMO. As the lead organizer of the March Against Monsanto Boston, the reason I march is to inform consumers, that is all. No one is forcing us to eat GMO food, no one is forcing anyone to eat it and the less we purchase the less market percentage GMO food has, thus decreasing the price and increasing the availability of organic produce. The most damning shots fired at Monsanto have not been from protesting, but have come simply as a force of market correction as people stop buying GMO food once they are informed consumers. The below chart highlights how Organic Produce has taken over more of the market from GMO food on an annual basis. Thus highlighting how we can affect change by simply voting with our wallets.
The People are the Power
The answers to our problems lie within ourselves, with anarchistic systems and alternative innovative options like Steemit. If we do not like the policies being set forth by our politicians whom are subservient to Central bankers, Israeli Lobbyists, and the Bilderberg Group, etc. Then the obvious answer is to identify which companies support these Globalist Fascist policies and round table groups and stop supporting them. Instead of paying to boost your FaceBook post, try buying some STEEM Power instead. If you do not like the secrecy of Bilderberg, don't buy Coca-Cola products or read the Washington Post, simply do not support any of the companies that attend. If enough of us starting using Crypto-Currency instead of the Federal Reserve Notes the system would inevitably change on it's own to correct to the market. We the people have always had the power to change the system as we see fit with the choices we make. It isn't up to some mystical powers that shouldn't be to change the system for us, we have to take this on ourselves and learn to be informed and conscientious consumers and the world will change to our will. However we have to take the personal responsibility to make it happen.
Nicely said. Other than my own work and the friend from high school who got me on here, yours is the first article I've shared on Facebook...
I definitely agree to vote with your wallet. The problem is that most people are more concerned with finding the cheapest price. They don't believe organic makes a difference. They don't seem to care that most of the products that they buy are made by people earning slave wages. The only consideration is the lowest price!
you betcha!
the market giving us TRUE freedom by putting the power into our hands when we vote with our $$$$$
I definitely agree that voting with your wallet is the most sure way to get a companies attention, I just don't happen to agree with your cause.
That's cool man, my cause could be whatever you want it to be. The GMO food market is just a good example of people voting with their dollars hence why I chose to highlight it.
