It's like the lies we hide behind
define the sides of all our minds
Proceed, preside, recede, resign
deny, decline, repeat, refine
We've lost, we lose, refuse to ear
the cost we threw diffuse our fear
Freedom grabs our tongues and stabs
the faceless lives across our gaps
The cost, the loss, to satisfy
to all the gods of lavish vice
I won't divide, my feet won't splice
I won't resolve to be concise
The life you fake won't make the height
The rights you shake won't brake the tide
The dawning's near
The light was here
You put up blinds but I won't hear
The lies you hide our lives behind
Won't fear your eye cause I know mine
Happy people
Starving people
All things equal
Equilibrium
The flags are burned the borders blurred
The doubts you sold were all deferred
The rights we fought were all reserved
Assured our plight won't be disturbed
The leaders bank the people raid
The soldiers fire, the world is made
The sun is late, the stars regret
The promises they never met
I've seen the dreams of men collapse
I've looked through eyes like broken glass
The flask is dry, our eyes are waxed
Our flesh is loaned, our skies are taxed
The life you fake won't make the height
