Government Kills – The Numbers Prove It!

In the 20th century, governments committed mass democide, which means they killed more than 260 million of their own citizens. This does not take into account the estimated 130 million people (which could be higher) that died in all the wars combined during that same period, also at the hands of government! When you add them up, that's nearly 400 million people worldwide that have been slaughtered by people who believe and adhere to the most dangerous thing people can believe in, which is someone, or a group of people, having the right to rule over you. People commonly refer to this belief system as government. Individual criminals or even small bands of criminals the world over could never come close to inflicting the amount of death and destruction on humanity and the environment than governments have done and will continue to do. It is not possible!

So why do people follow and defend their belief in these violent and oppressive systems? This is fairly simply to answer. They are indoctrinated into this belief system from birth and by the time they are an adult, they have had so much input that the “belief” in government is not even noticeable. It’s like a fish living in water and isn’t aware that it lives in water. People just assume that human society and government goes hand in hand. I mean after all, if we didn’t have government we would have anarchy. What they mean by the term anarchy when used in this fashion is chaos, not the definition freedom lovers use which simply means rules but no rulers.

The belief in government is a religion and trumps that of more recognized religions that believe in a divine being. When government (which is made up of humans) orders its subjects to kill, they do. A religion like Christianity that has a commandment, which is supposedly the word of god, that states “thou shalt not kill” is totally disregarded when the dictates of mere humans order people to kill in the name of the state. This proves that most people’s belief in government supersedes that from a divine being, therefore making the belief in government most people’s true religion!

The fact that government uses force to extract money from individuals to provide basic services for people is necessary, otherwise it wouldn't happen, is what we are all basically taught from the time we are born. If it wasn’t done this way, people believe that there would be chaos and nothing (like infrastructure and charity) would get done. That couldn’t be further from the truth. Government wants people dependent on them to provide these services. This allows the "control freaks" to maintain their status and power while they enrich themselves at everyone else’s expense, and what do they provide in return? Nothing! Do you see politicians building roads, dams, bridges, restoring electricity when the power goes out, etc.? No. It’s everyday people in societies around the world who do these things, not government! Government officials and bureaucrats are nothing more than useless eaters, lining their pockets off of your labor by stealing true wealth from the masses.

If people finally realize that government is run by tyrants, and always will be, because these are the types of people that gravitate towards these institutions, then people can start to withdraw their support in large numbers, stop funding them, and let the belief that authority is necessary fade away into the abyss. Humanity will be much better off because after all, the only thing that government does well is kill!
