Laughing At Statists: Cutting The Crap With The Blunt Edge Of TruthsteemCreated with Sketch.

This week we examine a shadowy cabal that meddles malevolently in the Middle East.

Ever heard of WINEP? Neither had I until I started digging deep into 9/11.  It's the Washington Institute For Near East Policy.  The following is from the mission and history portion of their website.

My additions and comments are in bold and italics.

 “In war and in peace, the Institute’s efforts to articulate a coherent and realistic view of U.S. national interests has assisted policymakers, in and out of government, to make informed decisions about the Middle East.”  –President Bill Clinton

My comments:  What national interests? Dropping as many bombs as possible so the military-industrial scoundrel cartel can increase profits every year?  Policymakers = control freaks

 “Your hard work and commitment to the spread of freedom strengthen our Nation and help make the world a safer and more peaceful place.”  –President George W. Bush

 My comments:  Hey dubya, by freedom, safer and more peaceful place, do you actually mean war torn hell hole?

OUR MISSION

The mission of The Washington Institute is to advance a balanced and realistic understanding of American interests in the Middle East and to promote the policies that secure them.
 My thoughts:  What interests? Oil and opium? How about weapons sales? The following two graphs are very telling.

Opium Production In Afghanistan

Defense Department Spending

 The Washington Institute is a 501(c)(3) organization. All donations are tax deductible.

Translation:  This is another loophole which enables oligarchs to not pay taxes.
HISTORY

In 1985, a small group of visionary Americans committed to advancing U.S. interests in the Middle East founded The Washington Institute for Near East Policy. Today we are the largest research institute devoted exclusively to the study of the Middle East.

Translation:  In 1985, a small group of psychopath control freaks committed to advancing oligarch interests in the Middle East founded yet another think tank.  Today we are the largest institute devoted exclusively to the rape and pillage of the Middle East.

The founders understood that American interests in the region emanate from a handful of core ideas: security, peace, prosperity, democracy, and stability. But they also recognized that these interests can be best advanced through policies rooted in inquiry, debate, and research.

What these crooks probably mean by the following words:
security = more weapons sales

peace = oil rigs left alone

prosperity = filthy riches for a select few

democracy = collectivism

stability = no challengers to oligarch puppet rulers

The Institute's senior research staff includes experts on a wide array of political, military, security, and economic issues that cover every corner of the Middle East. They speak the region's languages, have lived and worked there, and often hail from the region itself. We are proud of the long list of Institute "alumni" who have gone on to serve in virtually every arm of government that plays a role in Middle East policymaking -- including the National Security Council, State Department, Pentagon, and intelligence community.

My comments:  Let’s take a look at some of those stealthy, self-appointed experts who take part in this benevolent organization.
 Henry A. Kissinger Secretary of State, 1973-1977
 Richard Perle Assistant Secretary of Defense, 1981-1987
 Condoleezza Rice Secretary of State, 2005-2009
 George P. Shultz Secretary of State, 1982-1989
 R. James Woolsey Director of Central Intelligence, 1993-1995

Wow, look at that.  What a surprise! The usual suspects.  I’m sure the people of Iraq, Libya, Syria, and a host of others would love to thank you for your altruistic, murderous designs.

The Washington Institute provides analysis through the written word, the spoken word, and personal contact. Institute publications -- from policy briefs to full-length monographs -- are widely recognized as "must-reading" for officials, diplomats, and journalists in Washington and around the world. They provide "instant analysis" of breaking events as well as thoughtful, long-range assessments of trends in the shaping of future policy. We frequently brief Congress, the Executive branch agencies, the military, and the intelligence community. Scholars present their findings on prestigious academic panels around the globe. Many times a day, Institute scholars and associates are quoted in major American or international media, appear on the op-ed pages of elite newspapers, or are interviewed on network television and radio news programs.

My thoughts:  In other words, this tiny cabal helps dictate actions of their psychopathic order-following brethren in the lower ranks of so-called officials and journalists.  They also spread propaganda through approved oligarch news agencies in order to brainwash people.
