The State is a Sidewalk, We are the Weeds

It gave me my own little insight and inspiration and reminded me of my own ways that I remind myself that we already exist in anarchy. That the state is simply an imposed structure on the reality of nature.

Anarchy is the natural state. That doesn't disappear when man exerts control. We can upset balance and create a fascimile of a controlled world in which natural order has no power, but the truth is that the natural state persists beneath the surface always working its way back to the top.

Take a sidewalk. I love sidewalks. I love to look at them as I walk down a street.

Why? They remind me of the truth of reality. When I see that weed that found a crack in the concrete and manages to survive and even thrive being trampled on, choked with smog, having little soil and even being cut over and over... that weed serves to remind me that no matter how hard they try, the state can NEVER, NEVER, NEVER destroy the natural order of self-ownership. They can cover it up. They can deny it. They can restrict and attack it. But it will come back, again and again. One day, that weed will win. It will pollinate and it will seed other cracks.

It will proliferate and, one day, the roots deep under the surface of the state will cause the state to crack and cumble away.

Nature always reclaims its place. We are nature. We are the weeds.
We are the ivy crawling on the walls of the state, breaking apart the mortar that holds it up.

It may seem as if we are making little or no difference, but it is a death of a thousand tiny cuts. We cannot give up or be discouraged. I think it goes a long way to remember that the state is not the order, the system, the reality. It is a disease in reality. We are the cure. We simply must persist and know that under all the laws, the distractions, the 'authority' is the real world. The world where we are all free.

We must stop believing that we are not free and begin realizing that freedom is in the heart and it is the nature of the world. We are under seige, to be sure. But we are only as enslaved as we believe we are.
