RE: Jesus was not a Socialist

The Parable of the Workers in the Vineyard helps to explain God's grace. It also shows that His grace, and the world in general, isn't going to seem fair. Take Steemit for example: one minnow works for hours on numerous high quality posts over the course of a week, earning $5. Another minnow works for five minutes on a meme and makes $5. Both were rewarded according to the rules, albeit in an "unfair" manner.

well of course, I probably should have prefaced it all by stating the obvious that the parables are given to teach spiritual truths that the person telling the parable means to convey, . With that in mine though, it is interesting to see all other types of truths one can glean from em. And yes, steemit is a great example where hard work and value aren't the same. Though I have to say, it's kind of hard to judge "fairness" in this respect as we never know how long it actually took anyone to make any post.
