Edit: I just found that documentary so heres firstly the link, and ill add the times on the video to the points I was referring to. Theres probably a fancier way to do it but im not that fancy! WATCH THE DOC :) its a good one indeed.
Here in Norway, recently like many other countries, nearly all homes have them installed.
I believe already that all of the homes in the citys have been installed with them and by the end of spring ALL homes and cabins in Oslo will be installed with a Smart meter.
My friends are here (who literally just turned up) and see me writing a post about the smartmeters. They said to me when I told them what I have learnt, "ah just dont think about it!". This is whats annoying. Ignorance.
These 2 mates live in campervans and are from cheq republic, they also hate the system but still somehow dont question all of it still.
I am confused as to why people arnt informed,so I just decided to look what happens if I type Smart meter in Google, like the average home-owner would, and I saw this post from The Telegraph newspaper which is a top seller in UK for over ages of 40 ish.
It was titled "Six reasons to say no to a smart meter" - and I thought, Wow!
Thats great (almost to good to be true) that someone managed to release something about why NOT to get one and in a paper that the people would read.

The media are telling the people that its to benifit them, and that its saving the planet from "climate change" and that it will give us more control on the energy were are using at home.
I dont believe anything that is said on mainstream media, because if you take a step back from it all and read other news resources and see its all Bollocks. Please take a look. This is just one of the FALSE information websites out there that are saying they wont cause any health problems. But of course I saw at the bottom of the lists of downloadable Pdf files, this :

The first time I heard of these meters, it was a couple of years ago on a documentary from Youtube.
It was suggesting bad things about them, suggesting the cancerous effects and how they will be used to watch just more than our energy useage, it would be survielling our every move of our private lives.
It was time I did a post about this. And I encourage others to do so aswell.
I was shocked that after we tried to get connected to the grid, for mains electric, we were told after visiting the heaquarters because they ignored us, that we would have to wait 3 months and then we would get installation of a smart meter. We stood at the front desk of Haflunds( the main electric mafia in norway) and looked at each other in fear. we said that we knew about Smart meters and we refuse them. The guy at the desk looked concerned at our reaction and said "whats wrong with them, i have one at home!"
Just that night before me and my squat mate watched a new documentary on smartmeters, as we both hadnt seen anything about them since 2 years. We found one of the top docus on youtube, and of course from someone who wasnt promoting some imaginary plus side of these meters.
What we saw was incredible.
It was about what was happening right in America - right now even as you read this. There was many points of the documentary that I could press upon, but ill just tell you the things that have really stayed fresh to memory.
The first point was of a University I believe it was, were many people had contracted an acute form of Brain Cancer, claiming over 6 lives I think it was. Actually, I can just find the story - and heres the website from the mother of the last victim, she decided to do her own homework and not to just believe what people had told her, but her findings of course wernt shown to the public.

THIS WAS IN 2008. Many more cases like this have just been ignored, and now they have already installing this things into people homes AND EVEN USING PHYSICAL FORCE. On the documentary I was referring to, it had a lot of video footage recorded from homeowners, of smart meter installers tress-passing, cutting chains of of entrances, and damaging their property. Even with the peacefully protesting that they havent given permission, homeowners and witnesses were just ignored and the installation carried out. One guy told of how he heard noises coming from his basement, and went to investigate. He found a female installer, who had BROKE IN by smashing open the basement door and was busy installing the smart meter. He took video footage of her there and the damage caused as she left after doing the job. From 57.00
I just looked online to see whats happening in the UK and I found this from a group called StopSmartMeters. And its happening or should I say Happened, already.
On the documentary, I remember an old woman who was so frail she was helped to walk to the stand in-front of a judge to try to get compensation from having fucked up side effects from smart meters. She said that since she had EIGHT smart meters put on the outside of her house her life had been hell, and she had survived 3 wars and not even that was as bad as the effects of the smart meters. Her bed was next to the wall which held these meters.
She had with her a bag of bloodied tissues of which she stated were from nosebleeds that are constantly happening since the meters where installed. It was obvious she was in really suffering from these, and the worst thing was that when her lawyer asked her if she had these problems before the smart meters were installed - Bang the hammer went down and then shouts the judge " sorry we are out of time " next please. Like a fucking game show. 52.33
There was also the fact of the alarming fire safety issues on the test runs, when around 4 out of 10 caught fire, which apparently is also very common effect of a meter. All the wiring in your house connected to the smart meter, creates a huge cubed antenna, which you and your family are meant to live in happily ever after.
I watched people in America having the houses broken into, literally the home owner was standing, recording the Smart meter installers, Cutting chains and padlocks and going onto peoples property without the permission. One man said he heard noises coming from his basement, so went to investigate and saw his basement door had been smashed open and there was a women installing a meter into his home 4.11. What the fuck! We watched home owners with video recorders , taking footage of and installer coming to fit a meter.
So the main thing that really sticks in the mind from the documentary is concerning how people are actually contracting this brain cancer and having nosebleeds, insomnia etc. Also from many different homeowners again with video footage and witness there at the time, they asked the installers if the smart meter would emit any harmful radiation waves and the installer promised them it wouldnt. Well when one of the crowd produced a radiation detector after it was installed, sure enough like the main concern is, the meter was emitting 20,000 units of Radiactive Radiation. 42.55
There was also video footage of 2 country's one being Hungary I think, with MILLIONS of people in the streets protesting against Smartmeters. AGAIN this footage wasn't shown on the main media.

I am sick and tired of people reading news from Google, and thinking that they are reading is not mainstream media , just because it has a .org website address and a friendly face on the page.
On the other end of that scale, there is for instance a "no to smartmeters" group on fakebook in Oslo, consisting of regular people who are well in the system, but they have managed to INVESTIGATE themselves instead of believing the lies on the media.
I had to write this post because yesterday I went to visit new friends of who I had randomly bumped into some weeks before and had chatted about the alternative lifestyle. I went to their home and after 2 hours I began to get the same feeling of the side of my head turning into heavy stone, filled with concrete and mild ear ache- the same feeling as some weeks ago when visiting another friend.
I had this like stuffy feeling in my head appear, and it was completely un-natural indeed.
I asked my friend if she had a smart meter in the house because of medical reports from people who said they started to get headaches after the Smart Meter was installed. I had never been in a place with one but sure enough it turns out there was one in the cottage she lives in. We told her about what we knew and since then she has done research herself and know sees the truth.
What exactly are those "20,000 units of radiactive radiation"?
I never thought of it, but those units communicate with their base through the cellular network. This does cause some electromagnetic microwave radiation - same as telephones.
If such radiation is harmful for health, then those units are the least of our worries - they shouldn't be worse than cellphones. People put cellphones right beside their brains, sometimes chatting for an hour or two. Keep in mind that the power flux is inversely proportional with the square of the distance - hence it should be 1600 times worse to hold a telephone ten cm from the brain compared with four metres.
Cell phones will be proven to cause cancer

Measurement of the power passing through some cables is simple stuff, even though the new metres doesn't contain moving parts, there is no radically new measurement technology in "smart" metres as compared with the old metres. Reporting the electricity consumption in real-time is done through cellular networks, so it shouldn't cause any different radiation than ordinary cellphones.
The term "nuclear radiation" generally covers three kind of radiation, there is the alpha rays (high-speed atomic nuclei particles), beta rays (high-speed electron particles) and gamma rays (high-energy photons or high-frequency electromagnetic waves). The simplest way to generate such radiation is through embedding some radioactive components (i.e. "nuclear waste") in the product, like they do with smoke detectors - but I'm fairly convinced they don't put radioactive waste into those smart metres.
Apart from that you would need really heavy particle accelerator to create alpha radiation. To generate beta radiation one could do with a fairly smaller particle accelerator - like, the cathode ray tubes (CRT) used in old TVs and computer screens - though, the electrons aren't accelerated nearly fast enough for them to be dangerous - and I'm fairly certain there are no CRTs inside the smart metres.
"Gamma rays" is electromagnetic radiation, but as far as I know there are no way to produce such radiation electronically.
Microwaves are also electromagnetic radiation.
Whatever apparatus was used for measuring the radiation, I believe it would have been making the same (or higher) readings if exposed for a cell phone during a telephone conversation.
My knowledge is next to nothing, I'm just going from the documentary, and that documentary scared the shit out of me.. plus after being in a house with a smart meter, and getting weird effects, I don't trust them. Actually anything with smart on the name, or any product where the letter "I" has been played with I see as a tool for the planned agendas that i see already prevailing around me,just as predicted by conspiracy theorists
