Can you give me any examples in any time history when there has been no authority structure to rule over and make decisions, and on the behalf of, other's?
If it hasn't happened in over 5 THOUSAND years of communities getting together, maybe it's because it's not a workable mode and just an ideological utopian fantasy...?
Just like communism- it doesn't take into account the one tiny part of the equation that's important - people and human psychology..
if it hasn't happened yet - through countless generations - have they all missed something so far?

It's not about the absence of authority and hierarchies. It's about the legitimacy of those, and the need for consent from the individual to be governed by others. Here are some examples of societies that came close to a stateless society and/or polycentric law:

These are perfect examples of the best of man.
I will try to do a post on this....I will do some research on the Irish one, the Icelandic one isn't as relevant.

I believe the Teutons at the time of Rome lived in an anarchy. They were called Barbarians by the Romans. They were inferior to the Romans because there was no military in this sense. Those who fought did so of their own free will. However, the terrain and the forests have ruled out the conquest of Rome.

My response to people who say we cannot live without codified statutes enforced by the state is this. “I speak English. English grammar isn’t regulated by statute but by the conventions we learned from respected books..... we obey the rules of English without rulers thus proving life is possible without codified laws.
