Written in 1860, de Puydt released a "seed into the wind," not knowing whether it would find fertile soil or land in cobblestone. The idea is simple: everyone should have the freedom to choose whatever form of government they want, without having to move from their current locale.

It is only now that the technology to facilitate this sort of thing has caught up to this beautiful idea. The internet, and blockchain technology, allow for the existence of Governance Service Providers, such as BitNation, which allow the actual implementation of the idea contained in de Puydt's legendary and prophetic work, PANACHIE.
