I love discord because I used to use Teamspeak for years so it's a huge improvement - only video chat is missing.
I game a lot so sometimes I use twitch and found new gaming buddies that way

Yeah, another feature of Discord is that you can connect it to your Twitch account (and also Steam account I believe).
