I find it both funny and tragic that humans are the only species that enslave eachother. No other animal on Earth has a government and a taxation system. Only humans steal, rob and do violence to eachother in an organized way.
It is the curse of humanity to be both the wisest species and the dumbest one at the same time. We have all this complex brain, and high intelligence, but somehow we could only come up with this barbaric society, where nonsense laws, regulations, bureaucracies and prohibitions feast on our freedoms.

Well, to be fair.. there is an ant species that has aphid slaves.
That is actually not true. The ant colony may look like a collectivist slave camp, but scientists have studied them and realized that all ants have individual choices and are not working together beause they are forced to, but because it is optimal for all of them. In simple words, they are more like a collaborational society, rather than a slave society. Look it up for yourself.

Well then I guess I am wrong. Looks like collectivism still leads to slavery, in any species, who would have thought?
