Parenting is the most important job in the world

Do you think the amount of love we receive determines how quickly and easily we can grasp the virtue of voluntarism and the non-aggression principle?

The more love you receive, the more love you’ll be able to share. And the idea of forcing somebody into anything will be a very strange concept to you. Hence it is most important, that we act and raise our children with love.

Once we’re enough people compassionate enough to no longer want to coerce our friends, families and fellow human beings into anything, the question of “but how are we going to get things done without the state” vanishes. Especially the question of how we’re going to take care of the unfortunate.

The intellect has to not only recognize the virtue of non-aggression, but also the aggression we all inflict upon each other by supporting this unjustifiable institution of the state.

Thus, how important is it that a child grows up without his parents inflicting unjustified authority on him? It may be the most important factor of all the factors making us susceptible to the idea of the state.

And it’s not just about the authority experienced as a child, but also the over-protectedness.

In other words: parenting is the most important job in the world. And they should be receiving all these bitcoins.

It also shows you, that most of our “rulers” were probably never loved as children. They feel something missing inside them. They seek to compensate for it by acquiring all sorts of utterly useless stuff. And power. That’s basically what our “leaders” and the people who run the show do. You can be almost certain they had shitty parents.

All the shit that’s going on in this world – and there’s a lot of it – is ordered by someone who needs to compensate for something. All the way up the chain of command.

And that’s when I think: they are not that many. There are really not that many links in a command chain. The majority, the vast majority is on the receiving end. And we on the receiving end do not follow their commands because we approve of their insane ideas. We do it, because we believe we have to obey them. And because we are faced with jail or certain death if we don’t.

We need to focus on that one aspect of government: the use of force. We need to make people see it for what it is. If you point it out enough, at some point, everyone will see it. And they will no longer try and sugarcoat what it actually is: the greatest collective use of force against innocent, peaceful individuals in the history of mankind.

Browsing this forum of ideas, I feel exhilarated by the amount of reason that is voiced by all of you. Given the love for freedom that is shared by this community, I’d say most of you had great parents.
