RE: CryptoCurrency: Hero or Goat?

in #anarchy6 years ago

We will have our cryptos that will let them track our every movement, like here on Steemit.. then we will also have the option of privacy through zero protocol or zsnarks.. the deep onion Tor coin etc..
I am also interested in seeing what the future holds.. I think the EOS team do a good job of talking about the implications and why blockchains are so great and revolutionary. And the main theme is that blockchains align the interest of all parties in a traditional business model. On Steemit, you find and award good content. They get paid in Steem which is basically stock in the blockchain. So the authors and the readers both have an interest in making Steem as successful as possible because they are getting paid in company stock. The shareholders are the people who use the platform, we all want it to be successful because we are invested. Now move that concept to Uber ride coin or Airbnb coin or Ticketmaster coin or Google coin or any company really. The aligned interests created by this are a much better company model. It also just so happens that the blockchain makes everything trackable, cheaper, and more secure.
The government will have to try to resist. This is bad for fiat money across the globe. I hope we win though. If we have to have a world currency, let's have a decentralized one.

Right now I dont know anything about zero protocol, zsnarks, deep onion Tor coin . I'm thinking EOS is a good investment based on rudimentary understanding of blockchain technology. Blockchain technology aligning with business needs is almost a no brainer. As far as Steem the current wealth distribution is distubingly similar to world finances as a whole. That is an observation only, not a whine. Although I am curious how steem will be financed after new tokens are no longer created by creating content. Over the past year I have been aware of the Steem wealth imbalance issue and see no real change coming even though I believe more financing at the lower levels and timely development would grow the platform in a healthier manner ultimately benefitting the whales as well. Call it investing in the future. Once again, just an observation. Point is those who have, fight to keep what they have & to get more. Governments will be relentless in regaining any ground lost to cryptocurrency implementation. Is it possible they would relent without majority control? In my post I gave no consideration to fringe groups, if that is close to what you meant by some coins will evade control. Also inevitable.

It is my intention this post be a thread rather than a one off, but I have a lot of research & thinking to do to continue that. I want to thank you for viewing the content and responding. Exactly what I was hoping for but did not expect. The fun continues!

There will always be Steem to pay contributors, it's inflationary.. EOS will also be inflationary. But the level of inflation is far below most governments.

Ya you are still here early in my opinion, so you are investing in that future too.. get more Steem and you gain more ability to help towards that good future on here. My upvote used to not be worth very much. Just a little change in price has had a decent impact though.. things like steemgigs and people like surpassinggoogle do lots for the younger people.. this is an intricate ecosystem and we are here early in it's growth still.

My hope is that by that time it will kind of be too late, and they will have to relent control. Well the bullishness of war and all the negative things governments pay for, we can upvote road developments and city projects. Vote for a president and audit it ourselves just for fun. Blockchains could do crazy things
