Thanks for taking the time to put this together. Even rational humans are quite easy to get fighting over 1 thing or another. They just need to keep us from debating the issues in a rational manner and they win every time. Even the main VS Alt media are culpable in this for the most part. No one is ever all right or all wrong in their philosophy. Most times we can agree to disagree without shedding any blood over it. If we can't find enough common ground to be friendly with each other we can surley find different places to hang out in a live and let live approach to life. Some people are affraid of guns for whatever reason ( too much TV probably ) and will never look at the facts.
On the other hand, gun owners for their own reason will not give them up and respond " come and get them " ( Im willing to kill you if you try ).
How can the 2 sides ever come to any agreement when these are the only 2 options offered? If everyone was packing heat I believe we would be more pleasant to each other whether we wanted to or not :-)

The real key is that everyone, including agents of the state, need to know they risk death by effing with you. That, I specifically mean, is on the individual level too. If you mess with my specific family or me, you risk death. If that risk is not there, people are not really free. A cartel will crush you without fear. A government will crush you without fear. Any level of criminal can crush you without fear. I will never live in a place like that. No thank you! Predators need to always know they are hunted. They need to know they will be hunted down and killed. The world would be a very ugly place if that were not true. Guns in the hands of good people keep that true. :)
